Can A Food Piece Get Stuck In Lungs Or Throat?

i was eating breakfast and i laughed while eating and i believe that a piece of food went down the wrong way..i coughed and thought i felt it come up and then i swallowed again. I dont have any symptoms but i am feeling a little paranoid. Do you think that it is possible it is in my lungs or stuck in my throat?

Hello
Food can get struck in the throat and this occurs when you are taking non veg food which contains bones. But food usually cannot get struck in lungs as because reflux it will not go into lungs.
If you are having a feeling of foreign body sensation in throat and if you have taken non veg food you need to worry.
If you are in doubt consult ENT doctor for examination of throat.

Thank you
