Can A Gastroparesis Patient Experience Regular Bowel Movement?

I was diagnosed with gastroperitis (I m not sure how to spell it) the dr gave me metoclopramide...yjis medicine was much worse than the occasional nausea and vomiting I had been experiencing...I quit taking the medicine and am not experiencing any symptoms...my question is can one have gastroparitis and experience regula bowel movements, as my bowels have always been regular
