Can A Heart Dysfunction Cause Dry Heaves, Nausea And Diarrhea?

I had my gallbladder removed about two months ago. About 4 weeks ago I went to my dr. because my blood pressure was high. She changed my medication but prescribed too much and my pressure dropped. I was tried and had no energy. I returned to my dr. and she prescribed something else. This time she did an EKG. There was a blip but I don t remember what it was called. She has ordered an Echo. But I am having the same symptins as before the gallbladder removed. I have dry heaves, nausea, and diarrhea. Blood work up was normal. Can these symptoms be caused by the heart? Thank you.

Hello,

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that Most likely your symptoms are of gastritis which can be due to Cholecystectomy but high blood pressure is irrelevant so kindly get you Echocardiography done and consult your physician for further treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap,
