Can A Nodule On Thyroid Cause Bitter Taste In Mouth?
Hi .... i have been experiencing dry red eyes and a bitter taste in my mouth for 4 days now... I was told through an ultrasound that I have a nodule on my thyroid and was told that I needed to undergo an ultrasound biopsy which I haven t done yet... The doctor has been monitoring me and says that due to the fact that my nodule appears to have shrunk, I don t have to go through with biopsy just yet...Could the bitter taste be attributed to the nodule? What could both symptoms be indicative of? Thanks
Thyroid nodule does not cause the symptoms you have mentioned. Red eyes can be because of dryness of eyes also, use some lubricating eye drops that will help. But still if you have found out a nodule in thyroid better get an fnac done whatever the size be.
