I have Sjogren s Disease & have been coping with Candida, mostly under my tongue. The over-all canida has mostly cleared, after 4 months of treatment. However, I m left with a lesion under my tongue that is painful (also 4 months). Can you give me an opinion as to whether or not this would be Candida related - or do I need a biopsy?
Candida infection generally causes a white patch and is painless, therefore a painful lesion under your tongue may be something ulcer and will need a complete evaluation and possible biopsy. Please dont worry , just meet your doctor , he will examine you and guide you further.
Thanks
