Can A Pregnancy Test Be Negative But I Still Miss My Period?
Hi...i miss my period .my last date is 15 nov n finished at 19. I hd unprotected sex on 20 nov.now i miss my period.i did urine test twice but it shows negative result..from last two days i hv stomach ache like periods are near as i took meprate 20 mg frm 3 days..plz suggest.
I can understand your concern. First of all, if you are not sure regarding urine test, you can take a blood test for pregnancy which is more sensitive than urine test.
Secondly, you will not get menstruation while you are on Meparate 20 which contains progesterone. Usually, menstruation starts after 2 to 3 days of completing the course of the medicine. It might take up to 7 days sometimes. So you are little early to expect your menstruation now that way.
If you do not get menstruation in 7 days after completing the course of Meprate, you should consult a gynecologist for the further investigations.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for trusting HCM with your concern. Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
