Can A Pregnancy Test Be Negative But I Still Miss My Period?

I m actively trying to get pregnant. My period is a day late and hpt are negative. However the last two days I ve been experiencing slight nausea. Could the hpt be wrong or me slightly off on my estimated period? My last cycle began DEC 6th and ended DEC 11th.

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion urine pregnancy test gives accurate results if done a week after missing period.So I suggest you to repeat the test after a week.And symptoms of pregnancy like nausea,vomitings,,sorebreasts etc start around 6 weeks of pregnancy.It mightbe confirmed after repetition of the test.
