Can A Pregnancy Test Be Negative But I Still Miss My Period?
I haven t had a period in almost four months (I only spotted once not even enough to use a tampon) I ve taken pregnancy tests and they have all been negative. But here lately I have started feeling a pulsing sensation in my upper abdomen. I only really notice it when I m laying down. What could this be?

Hi, Yes in many conditions pregnancy test is -ve still periods are missed.( PCOD, Ovarian cyst, thyroid problems, sever weakness are some examples) * The pulsation you feel normally in upper abdomen is due to a main blood vessel ( Aorta)that crosses this area to supply blood to lower body.It can be noted in a thin built person/when a person lies down flat on back . It is advisable to consult a physician & get examined to exclude certain problems of Aorta. * you have 4 months amenorrhea, your doubt can be cleared by USG abdomen/ the possible causes for irregular periods can then be investgated with an expert gynecologist Thanks.
