Can A Pregnancy Test Be Negative But I Still Miss My Period?

Hi, last week I took two home pregnancy tests that came back negative. I went to the doctors just incase as I have sore breasts, blood like taste in my mouth, swollen lower abdomen that appears to swell up when I eat, slight diarreah, and sometimes nauseous. The blood test result (conducted Wednesday this week) came back negative so I took a further home pregnancy test which also came back negative. I continued to check the test during the night and it remained negative until I checked it again at the end of the next day (Thursday) and the test appeared positive. I have recently had a break up with my partner and am not sure if I am mixing emotion with these symptoms. Please help!

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the stress might delay the period.And then pregnancy test might be negative inspite of missing period.But as the test is positive the presence of pregnancy is for sure.So the symptoms might be attributed to pregnancy.
