Can A Pregnancy Test Be Negative But I Still Miss My Period?

I had unprotected sex on peak ovulation . Days 12 days ago now am expiriencing cramping.mood swings breast tenderness headaches and dizziness.i am aslo do for my period in 5-7 days according to my ovulation callender.but i took pregnacy tests 2and 4 days ago and were negative.i also had slight blood 7 days after ovulation during inetercourse.

hello
i understand your concern about health. Unprotected sex during ovulation indicates fertile period. you had done sexual intercourse during fertile period. so there is maximum chances of pregnancy during the ovulation period. you also missed the period. so my advice is that you do a pregnancy test after a week. if the test is still negative then consult a gynecologist and do a ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy. pregnancy test is not a reliable test for pregnancy confirmation. ultrasound will surely indicates pregnancy.
