Can A Pregnancy Test Be Negative But I Still Miss My Period?
My period is 10 days late. I have always been quite regular. I ve taken 5 pregnancy tests, all negative. My husband and I aren t using contraception. I have a terrible pain in my LLQ when I press on it. Some abdominal cramping, nausea and I m exhausted. Have an ob/gyn appt in 5 days. But I was also diagnosed with hyperthyroidism last year and thought maybe it was just my hormones causing me to be late. But the pain in my abdomen is concerning me. Could it be an ectopic pregnancy?

HI, I understand your concern. IF the pain in left lower quadrent is more, you should go for blood pregnancy test Beta HCG test... high levels of beta HGC along with USG done by vaginal probe will help in excluding / confirming ectopic pregnancy. Pain in left lower quadrent can be due to Constipation/ amoebiasis/ ureteric stone/ ovarian problems . You need to get investigated for these conditions with a gynaecologist's advise. Please don't be tense.-till you can meet a doctor, _ take bed rest,/ have light nutritive food/ drink lot of water/ do not massage or foment abdomen./ take pain medicine after food. Thanks.
