Hello My friend has root canal tooth which is infected , he gets penicillin from a dentist and doesn’t want to remove that tooth , so he takes medication over and over. Recently he had a stroke . I am reading that some bad tooth root canals can cause stroke. Now he had seizure . He never had a seizure in life before. I don’t think it is a good idea to keep that infected tooth
You are 100% correct. It is NOT a good idea to keep the infected tooth. It's not a "bad" root canal that necessarily causes strokes rather the INFECTION that can be disseminated by not getting rid of the tooth or something called HYPERCOAGULOPATHY which can cascade a number of events eventually resulting in not only stroke but heart attack, pulmonary emboli, and other systemic disease.
