Can A Sharp Leg Pain During Pregnancy Be Due To Pinched Nerve?
My daughter is 29 years old and 14 weeks pregnancy. She is experiencing extreme pain shooting down her leg and has been occurring for a week now. She is unable to stand on her left foot and is thinking this could be a pinched nerve? She called her OB/GYN and was told to only take Tylenol and soak in a warm bath in Epsom salt. Is she able to have an MRI to see what is transpiring?
I believe that paracetamol and hot fomentation is the correct treatment for the pain. The pain that u have described is most likely due to laxity of joint and nerve compression. The hormonal changes during pregnancy cause such laxity of joints.there is nothing much to worry.
