Can A Splinter Hemorrhage In My Thumb Be Related To Endocarditis?
hi i have had something similar to a splinter hemmorage in my thumb for the past 3 or 4 years had a biopsy on it and the doctor said it was benine it grows out sometimes and then comes back. i researched on the internet and some websites mentioned it might be a symptom of endocartitis is this true i looked at a lll other symptoms and i have no other symptoms at all but i have had a innocent heart murmor since i was born could it be endocartitis or if not what else could it be ?
Hi welcome to hcm.. Splinter hemorrhage is definitely a symptom of infective endocardits...so get an Ecg,2D ECHO and consult your cardiologist..you should be kept on antibiotics immediately.So consult your cardiologist for expert management.thankyou
