Can A Steroidal Injection Treat Back Pain At The Lower Thoracic Levels?

i m having severe back pain at the lower thoracic levels. I have a congenital deformity of L-5 S1 fusion, aka 5 1/2 . However now the SEVERE pain is in my back at waistline. Nothing relieves this. you need a work up if the pain is debilitatIng. they are usually X Ray, ct scan and / or mri of the lowerothoracic spine. only after that the management can be decided. steroid injections are usually not given in this part of the spine.
