Can A Sting Infection In My Bum Cause A Swollen Lump In My Arm?

Hi: I was stung in the upper part of my arm but there was no stinger left behind. 2 months has passed and I have swelling in the crease of my elbow. The swelling was quite large but has gotten smaller. I think that there was some infection from the sting and it travelled down my arm. It does not hurt but the lump scares me a bit. It is not a swollen lymph gland as I had it checked so what is it? Thank you.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having enlarged lymph nodes in your under arm.
This might be due to some thing bite on upper arm producing bacterial infection.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course to clear infection on thepart and lymph nodes.
