Can A Stomach Virus Cause Vomiting And Diarrhea?

I just got over a stomach virus that lasted 4 days, it started out with me having stomach pains, then vomitting and diaherra for 2 days, the next 2 days I was just nauseated with diaherra, now everytime I eat anything I have diaherra that is all yellow. Last night, I couldn't sleep because I got up every 2 hours with explosive diaherra and very gassy. I had at least 5 episodes during the day with yellow watery stuff with a little chunks coming out that were brown to a light color. I'm drinking plenty of water to try to keep from dehydrating, and my diet is a bit off, not as hungry as I used to be and can't eat as much.
