Can A Syringe Driver Given To A Secondary Liver Cancer Patient Cause Constipation?

Hi my auntie has been diagnosed with secondry liver cancer with only 6% of it functioning and was told she had two weeks to live three weeks ago since that time she has had a syringe driver introduced to reduce her pain an is being increased every so often she is severly jaundiced seeing strange things in front of her eyes to the point of actually being real very tired and is now experiencing constipation was just wandering do you think she is near the end of her life as I believe once the drivers introduced this was the case ?

The less intake causes constipation. A syringe driver is not the cause.
