Can A Thick Clear Discharge With Pain In Pelvic Area Be A Sign Of Labor?
I m 37 weeks pregnant with a planned induce date on Wednesday. I ve not been feeling myself today, and have just had a thick clear discharge after going wee. It s not bloody though, but I have been have uncomfortable in my pelvic area, is this a sign of labour?
i am surprised you are being induced at 37 weeks first of all. this is done only in cases of Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy where liver functions are deranged. if you had a clear thick discharge but without blood , then we cant say if iyts the mucous plug of cervix as that should be accompanied by show. this may be your normal accumulated physiological discharge which got cleared while urination. for labour , you may start with uterine contractions of low intensity and low frequency slowly increasing in intensity and frequency. with the description given, its not labour. regards
