Can A Vascular Disorder Cause Rashes On The Legs While Suffering From Primary Lymphedema?
My daughter is 24 has primary lymphedema in both legs. For about a week she’s had a rash on her lower leg that has now spread up her leg to the top of her calf area. Yesterday it started in her other leg as well. It’s not cellulitis and she has no fever. Could this be vascular related because if her swelling? Not sure if she should see a vascular Dr or a dermatologist or both.
Vascular disorders including cellulitis and vasculitis can cause similar symptoms. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
