Can A Very Small Amount Of Insulin Affect Pregnancy?

Hi Doctor I have question because my father inlaw asked me to inject his insulin in his butt and then when I'm done, it accidentally poked in my hand. I'm worried I'm pregnant. Is it ok for me? To just ignore it? Thank you for your help if you reply.

Dear member,
Thanks for writing to Health care magic. Insulin is a safe drug in pregnancy as it is normally produced by the body.
As to a small amount which may have entered your blood will not cause any major problem to the ongoing pregnancy.
Thanks.
Dr Bhagyashree.
