Hi, my daughter is eight months old and has had a small growth on her ear since birth. As she is growing it seems to be getting bigger also and within the last week or so she has signs that another is forming on the opposite side.? She does not have her ears pierced and just slightly concerned?.
Hello, Growth on ear are less common. These swellings might be because of abnormal growth of blood vessels ie hemangioma. But that is just my assumption ,you should consult an ENT specialist and get examined . If hemangioma then you should take care that she does not get trauma over the ear especially the swelling. These will decrease in size with age and if not then safely can be removed surgically. In doubt do reply.
