Hi
With your query, definetely absence of saliva will result slow eating coz saliva is a must fluid that maintains the integrity of oral mucous membarane and its main function is lubrication. it helps in chewing the food and easy swalloiwng and has got many important functions as well. Firstly I suggest you to go to your physician or dentist to know the reason why its secretion is been lowered.Check your complete health profile with your physician fir the reasons.Plz don't neglect it consult the doctor.he may prescribe some sialogogues and for temporarily have some chewing gums and a drop of lemon juice on your tongue which increases the saliva for time being.decrease in saliva is due to many reasons so plz find out.hope thus us helpful
