Can Accidental Consumption Of Some Bleach Harm The Baby?

My wife is in her first trimester and she was cooking today and dropped some vegetables in a tub in our sink. Without realizing it she just washed it off and continued cooking. We just came to find out that there was a little bit less than a cap full of bleach in the water. Is she going to be okay? She isn't throwing up any just nauseated.

Hi,
I can understand your concern.
A small cap full of bleach in a tub full of water,a part of it used for washing vegetable - may not carry sufficient amount of bleach to cause harm to an adult.
Please observe your wife for side effects like vomiting/ breathing problem, change in psychological attitude(.without making her aware of the thing) If you find some symptoms take her to doctor for further assessment & investigations/management.
Thanks.
