Can Accidental Ingestion Of Beer Harm A Child?

My wife and I were at a friends house this evening, and to make a long story short, their toddler (like a year and a half old or so) picked up a bottle of beer when they werent looking at tried to take a drink. I think more got on him than in him, but it's been bugging me tonight whether or not it would hurt the kid?

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Alcohol is very dangerous for small kids, as it lower blood sugar, can cause loss of conciousness and convulsions, you need to rush to emergency if there is slightest doubt of ingestion.
