Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Ivo Ditah's Response
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. Dry skin, losing hair, constantly feeling cold, etc are very suggestive of a thyroid disease. I will suggest that you talk to your doctors for examination and get your thyroid levels checked to make sure your thyroid is functioning correctly. For this, your primary health doctor would be able to address this condition. Other symptoms of low thyroid include, fatigue, constipation, depression, fluid retention, etc.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
