Can Active Soccer Athletic Cause Turning In The Right Foot?

My nine year old daughter, an active soccer athlete, has developed a pronounced turning in of the right foot. I am not sure if there is something that needs to be addressed or if this is just a part of the awkward stage. She is extremely tall and has grown over 6 inches this past year.

Hello,

Usually, in sports players like soccer, there will be sometimes hypermobility of the joint due to ligament laxity. It's not good to have too much ligament laxity as this may lead to trouble to ankle stability and change the complete gait. Using compression bandage while playing the game. Ankle toe movements and balance board training is good for correction in the ankle ROM and also improve the muscle imbalance to correct the ligament instability.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
