Can Alcohol In Cosmetics Test Test Positive On A Alcohol Urine Test?
my husband tested positive on a alcohol urine test. However, he does not drink at all. he had blood work done back in September and his blood glucose was 117 and his white blood cell count was high. i am at a loss for words because he does not drink and can not stand the taste. the cut off level is 500ml. he is currently using a professional grade shampoo/conditioner for hair loss along with another daily product for hair loss. each of these products contain several different types of alcohol and one bottle is 2 oz and says it contains 30% alcohol. he also uses cologne and deodorant daily and works as a barber. he uses alcohol on each client and alcohol based products for sanitation purposes. please help!!!
yeah, that's possible. The new tests have some false positives. The level of positivity would imply what happened. If the level is positive and very very low... the cosmetic if it is off the scale HUGE !!! enormous !!! (obviously it is false.. yeast in a contaminated specimen can ferment). If it is low positive but not very very low, he might have diabetes that is sometimes really out of control and HE is fermenting.
