Can Alcohol Interact With Xanax And Lead To Side Effects?
I just experienced some terrible adominal spasms same as a charlie horse which has left me a bit panicky I have a magnesium supplement in powder called Calm which i can drink it also helps to make you calm aside from getting the magnesium into your system. About 3-4 hours ago I had one and a half beers could i take a .25 mg xanax with this magnesium supplement which tends to calm me although not as well as the xanax and how about the one and a half beers i had will that interact with the xanax thanks YYYY@YYYY

Hi welcome to HCM, thank you for the post. As such the no harmful interaction between Xanax(alprazolam)and alcohol, but it acts in a additive way to depress the brain and may cause more sedation.
