Can Alopecia Tablets Affect Menstruation?

hey doctor.. iam 25 years old,, and i was diagnosed to have androgenic alopecia,,2 mon ago a dermatologist doctor gave me androcure tab and cycloprognova tab,, that stop menses for 2 mon and come that mon as 2 spots in 2 days,,iam so worried what to do,, as iam not married yet,,?

hi, welcome to HCM,
cyclo-progynova tab contains estradiol valerate.menstrual problems including irregular menstrual periods, bleeding or spotting between menstrual periods - this may happen within the first few months of starting treatment with Estradiol valerate/Norgestrel or if you forget to take your tablet.You will usually have a withdrawal bleed after you have finished a blister pack. This is during your seven day tablet-free break.
Androcure tab cyproterone acetate.
The only medication approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat female pattern baldness is minoxidil:
It is applied to the scalp.
For women, the 2% concentration is recommended.
