Can An OTC Ear Drop Help To Cure Vertigo?

Hello, I have a question concerning vertigo. Last month, my mom was dx with verigo /infection otitis media. Today, she woke with the same signs/sx of when she was dx in the past with vertigo. I had her take Meclazine @ 25mg tid and Flonase.. The physician wants to prescribe ear drops, but unfortunately she refuses to go and see him. Last time, she was prescribed an antibiotic, but now the doctor wants to prescribe drops. Is there an OTC ear drop med that would suffice?

Hello

If your mother has developed symptoms as earlier, I think antibiotic ear drops should be given to her.

No OTC ear drops will help.

The infection will keep causing vertigo unless completely cured.

If treatment is delayed, otitis media can lead to complications.

Hope this helps.
Thanks
