Can An Allergic Reaction To Sunscreen Lotion Cause A Rash On The Leg?

Yesterday morning I put some sun screen on both legs from knee down. Then I put on some long pants protect my legs during yard work until it got too warm to wear the long pants. I worked outside in hot weather. Abut 3-3 hours later, I took off the long pants and noticed a significant rash primarily on my left leg below the knee and a little swelling too. It got worse as the day went on. There is a smaller rash on my right leg too. There is no itching. I didn t get into poisonous vegetation. I was wondering if I had an allergic reaction to the sunscreen? Don t know - starting to get concerned. Carl Ivarsson, YYYY@YYYY
