Can An Electric Shock Cause Headaches With Concentration Issues?
Hello. I m 28 years old and of reasonably good health. I received a reasonably strong electric shock to my head a week and a half ago due to some faulty mains wiring in my flat. It was quite a warm night so my skin was damp with sweat. I was discharged from hospital after 12 hours or so but subsequently I have been experiencing concentration issues and very frequent headaches. Is this something I should be concerned with?
Hi, Depending upon the intensity of exposure to the electric shock, it may cause this type of problems. As you have described that you have to be in hospital for 10 hr, which means intensity was there and you are suffering form post electric shock effects. This should subside in few days, however if you are having problem in your day to day work and life, then I would suggest you consult your doctor regarding this.
