Can An Insect Bite Cause Watery Diarrhea And Reddish Coloration In The Skin?
I was bitten by an insect 3 days ago and have a round red area about 1 inch in diameter on my arm. Today, I am having watery diarrhea and I have not eaten anything unusual since the boys. Could it be related to the bite? Should I see a doctor since the red area is not going away?
Yes, it is possible in few patients with insect bites or it may be due to food poisoning or acute gastroenteritis. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
