hello the first of sept I received a small bug bite on my lower leg. it still has not healed small amount of puss still comes out. I have done every thing triple antibiotic cream etc. it is a lot smaller but still there. the same leg all the way at the top in the is a large not like a cyst could this remotely be connected. I,m 51 yr female and not diabetic and in what I think is good health.

It is now associated with an enlarged lymph node in the inguinal region (pelvic region). It is usual to have inguinal lymph nodes enlargement with leg ulcers. But the prime concern is that the ulcer is not healing. I would suggest you to attend a nearby clinic and get your Blood routine, Serum albumin, Total Protein checked. Get a Fasting Blood Sugar repeated if not done in last 3 months, though you have said that you are not diabetic. The wound needs to be explored for any foreign body and you may need a course of antibiotics.
