Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. My daughter is experiencing light-headedness, tingling of her tongue and metallic taste in her mouth. This started this morning and she says it is getting worse, but she does not appear distressed. Breathing is ok. Shwe is 26, on anti-depressant meds and is morbidly obese (>300 lbs).
Light-headedness, tingling sensation on tongue and metallic taste could be part of depression. In that case, she needs to carry on with antidepressant. With time, these anxiety symptoms would improve. She can also try relaxation exercise like JPMR or deep breathing exercise, that would keep him relax. in case, she needs further help, you can ask.
Thanks
