Can Antibiotics Clear Pus Filled Preauricular Cysts Completely?
Hi am I ve got a preaucular pit hole an have had it for few years now it had had yellow puss come out of it every time I squeeze it and the doctor today has given me 10 days antibiotics but this clear it up, does the antibiotic work on this type of problem or would I need surgery.

Antibiotics will only take care of the infection but will not cure the pre auricular hole/sinus , Once the infection subsides , i recommend that you get it operated so that you can get permanent relief.Please dont worry , it is a very small surgery and there is nothing to be concerned,
