Can Anxiety Medication And Antibiotics For Cold Cause Problem Together?
Hi My 14 year old son is suffering from throat ache and cough . He had fever for two days and now he is left with bad cold , cough and sides of his head hurt but no fever ..Doctor has prescribed Asthalin rota caps 2caps three times a day for 5days) for the mild whizzing ,Azee -Azythromycin (once for 5days) ..He is been sneezing in the evening.So she has asked him to take Allegra ones in the night for 5 nights. MY son is taking Serta 25 for his anxiety attack once in the night. This is his background . I need to know should I continue serta 25 or stop and continue after he recovers from his cold . Will it cause any side effects

There is no need to stop SERTA.In fact SERTA should not be stopped as it would result in rebound of his problems for which SERTA was prescribed.
You can give both Allegra and SERTA.
Along with this give your son steam inhalation 2-3 times a day for 4-5 days as it would help him in his cold and cough problems.
