Can Aristozyme Help To Treat Chronic Bowel Problem ?
My father in law is 77 years old. He has a chronic bowel problem. He has loose stools for a day and then for 5-7 days he is fine feels very hungry and eats well. During this time he does complain at times of constipation .Then there is repeat of loose stools again for a day or two after which he is fine again and eats well. He also suffers from Parkinsons and takes 1 1/2 tabs of Syndopa 110 and 2 tabs of Pacitane a day. What will help...Aristozyme... or some kind of a diet or...??
Welcome to Healthcare Magic Parkinsonism is associated with constipation. The thing is if he does not pass stool for 2-3 days, bacterial fermentation occurs and it becomes loose stools and comes out. He needs to have a high fibre diet like fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Also he can have 2 tsp of Ispaghulla husk in a glass of warm water at bed-time to allow for stool to come next day. He needs to walk around and do exercise like brisk walking for 20-30 minutes a day if possible as this improves overall well being. He needs to consult his Neurologist if this bowel problem is recent as it could indicate drug dosing problem.
