Can Asbestos Related Work Environment Be A Cause For Lung Nodule?

I had a nodule in my left lung in 2002 was treated with an antibiotic that was so strong it made my skin peel when urinated. My lever count went so bad they put me on intaferan and ribaveran for one year which brought my lever count back to normal. recently due to shortness of breath and a constant cough I was x-rayed and took a breathing test where they said I had asbestos in my lungs from my work in refineries in the 70sand early 80s. Question is could the asbestos been the underlying cause of my nodule? And how do I get the test to comfirm that? Sorry Ive been out of work due to these medical problems and would be more than happy to pay even more if I had it. I thought I had found a site that was actually ther to help people. Sorry Ive wasted your time maybe someday I can pay someone to give me an answer.

Hello. We are here to help you.You need two tests to confirm if the nodule is related to asbestos exposure.Test are CT scan and if needed biopsy.Lung nodules can be because of variety of causes and one needs tests to determine the underlying cause. So ideal step would be to see chest physician and get this investigated.Regards.
