Pulmonologist 's  Response
Atelectasis/collapse of lung may be due to various causes. What is ur age? Do u have fever? weight loss? chest pain? I am a pulmonologist and can help u. You first send me the Chest X-ray plate image. A collapse due to aspiration will have fever. You need to do a CECT scan of thorax and FOB, if needed.
