Can Bacigyl Be Given Empty Stomach In Loose Motion?
can bacigyl n be given on empty stomach. my 5 year daughter is having loose motion since past 2 days and also vomited after meal now. she was also running fever of 100.5F since evening. whatever she ate in past hour she has vomited. Doctor advised over phone to give 5 ml bacigyl n twice a day.

bacigyl consist of norfloxacin.
better you give after some food ,because she is having vomiting also.
first you give anti emetic drug ,after half an hour give bacigyl.
i want to add one thing that norfloxacin is not safe in children.
we are having better option e,g; cefixime.
