Can Back Ache With Spotting Suggest Pregnancy?

Hello Doctor, I am 21 years old.I had periods on 26th November which lasted till 30th.Me and my bf had sex on 3rd December.I took contraceptive pill next morning.This happened 1 week ago and now since last 2 days i.e. 11th december, i am having lower backache and light spotting.Am i pregnant?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the intercourse was done in safe period.So the chance for pregnancy is less.And it is too early to feel any symptoms of pregnancy likenausea,vomitings,increased frequency of urination,breast tenderness..So this spotting and backache might be sideeffect of emergency pill.So relax.Just check for the coming period.It may either get delayed or come earlier sometimes due to pill effect.If delayed more than 15 days do a urine pregnancy test and consult gynaecologist..
