Can Bed Bugs Be Transmitted To Others By Physical Contact?
We are going on a trip on a travel bus with cushions. One of our elderly has just found out that her apartment is infested with bed bugs. Do we ask her not to go. They will exterminate on Monday. Today she is washing all of her clothes. What do we do? Can they infest the cushions on the bus or is it okay?

Yes bed bugs can be transmitted by physical contact.
It can also be transmitted by clothes and house hold items.
However these can be easily controlled by using malathion or dot spray.
