Can Beer Cause Mood Swings And Boisterousness?

my aunt likes to drink about 2-3 beers a night, but she is on ramiphril 10 mg a day. She is 79 years old and in the short time she has been staying with me & my husband (since 3/31/14) we have seen several mood swings and being boisterous with us. Is the beer affecting her this much?

Hi,
Whether or not the beer is affecting her mood would be difficult to be sure. It would partly depend on her tolerance to alcohol and her normal personality traits. Her mood swings may be related to her change of environment as this can be disturbing for some elderly people.
I suggest you discuss her behavior with her and the difficulties it is causing to you and your husband.
Regards,
