Can Being Overweight Lead To High Blood Pressure?

My blood pressure is 103 over 63. I am a 21 year old female, I am an average weight, not overweight or under weight. I'm about 1.6m tall. I went to my GP last monday and he said my blood pressure was low. I'm not sure if 103 over 63 is normal and if it isn't then what sould my blood pressure ideally be?

hai,

Blood pressure will differ from every individual.normal blood pressure is 120 systolic and 80 diastolic. 120/80mmHg. generally blood pressure should be read using sphygmomanometer(ideal machine.)
blood pressure will vary depending upon food intake, atmosphere, timing, mental status ( stress, anxiety), nutritional factors, drugs, disease, exercise etc

Some people will have 100/70mmHg throughout the life period.if they didn't have any symptoms of hypotension(low blood pressure) ultimately that is normal for the particular individual.

as per your quote you are normal weight.

If you didn't feel any fatigue, tired, fainting any other symptom associated with low blood pressure then your blood pressure 103/63 is normal.

you can check again your Blood pressure using the above mentioned machine in a periodic manner at different time to conclude your normal blood pressure remain in the same value(103/63).

thank you

hope i answered your query.
