Can Bilateral Hernia Repair Cause Female Infertility?
I am a 31 year old woman who has never been able to conceive. When I was 3 years old (in 1986) I had a bilateral hernia repair. That s really all I know about the surgery, the Dr s involved have all since retired & my mom doesn t remember much, other than the 2 little bubbles just below my hip bones scared her to death, and I was extremely hyper after the procedure. Do you think it s possible that my infertility is related to this surgery?
