Can Birth Control Pills Cause Constipation And Gas Problems?
I had diarrhea, and then have gone without a bowel movement for 10 days after that, which is really worrying me! That night I also started Sprintec, the new birth control I just switched to. Could the constipation/whatever it is be related to that? I've tried prune juice, dried apricots, drinking LOTS of water, and exercising, so far only bad gas.

Hello,
Your symptoms seem to be related to side effects of birth control pills. I recommend using over the counter option like Miralax to treat constipation.
I also recommend using simethicone medication to treat the bloating. I suggest you drink a lot of liquids and eat a healthy diet.
