Can Breaking Pimples Be Really Painful And Cause A Swelling?

I have two what it feels like pimples right at the end of my eyebrow above the nose. It has been two days since I had them.. I popped it yesterday morning, then all day it just hurts when I raise my eyebrow, and now it swelled so much my eye looks really bad and the pain is unbearable. Are these just pimples?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that the pimple like lesions at the end of eyebrow just above the nose can be either pimples while can also be due to ingrown hair or hair follicle infection..

As you have popped it, and now the area is painful and swollen it seems to be due to inflammation and spread of the infection in the soft tissues leading to Cellulitis..

You should start taking anti -inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen.
Do cool compresses over the area to reduce inflammation and swelling..
Apply a combination of a steroid and antibiotic ointment over the area..

In case if it does not improve or worsen consult a General Physician and he can advise you a course of antibiotics for resolution of infection along with other remedies as I advised above..
