Can Bright Red Blood In Stool Be Due To Amoxicillin Intake?

Yes please. I started taking Amoxicillin 500 mg capsules on 6/24/15 for a tooth infection. I had one refill of 40 capsules which I refilled and continued to take on 7/6/15. I finished the prescription on 7/19/15. Tonight I experienced a bright red bloody stool with clots present. Is this caused by the prescription?

yes,bloody stool is the side effect of amoxicilline.Please stop the drug and consult your doctor who prescribed this.
